Hello to you and a huge warm welcome to my celebrant site – I am Natalie, your Brit/Aussie Celebrant, covering all ceremonies on the beautiful Costa Del Sol, in Southern Spain. I am privileged to be able to incorporate the beautiful Andalusian sun, sea, and sand, into your special occasion. I will also happily look at covering your occasion in Gibraltar and the UK.

I am a qualified celebrant and have a Diploma in Celebrancy with a Distinction (gained with ‘The Blackford Centre’ in the UK). I am also a member of the The Celebrants Collective.

Or maybe you love old buildings, manor houses, or old castles, set far up in the Spanish countryside and hills, Spain has it all to offer!

Celebrant vs Registrar

So, what’s the difference? Many folks these days are embarking on lots of different beautiful places to hold their ceremonies. A celebrant has the flexibility to come along and marry you pretty much anywhere you want. Your journey, Your day, Your way! If the venue/place of choice gives you permission (which mostly they will). A Registrar can only marry you in specific places (like a registry office) and although they can do the legal signing of paperwork with you, you are restricted and may not have the freedom and flexibility to hold your ceremony at a venue, and place and within a setting that is precious to you. Using a celebrant gives you everything except from the legal paperwork part. But that’s very easy. You simply book that part in somewhere local to you (registry office near to your residential location) before you embark abroad and elope for your special celebration! Or the other option is you can sign the legalities and do the paperwork in Gibraltar and then hop across the border into Spain, easy peasy!

I will guide you throughout the process and will give you total flexibility, from traditional formats, to bespoke self-written vows. Perhaps as part of your ceremony you would like to add a unity ritual or two, a special inclusion that symbolically brings and binds you together. For example; Sand Ceremony, Ribbon Tying, Candle Ceremony, Hand Fasting, Warming of the Rings, or Wine Ceremony, there are so many available. Perhaps you would like to include a reading or two, to be read out as part of your ceremony by a chosen family member or friend – Your Journey, Your Day, Your Way… however you want it. Let’s talk it all through and make it happen.
